Academic Integrity Policy

Academic integrity is a basic pillar for achieving academic success and excellence. These values include the trainee’s commitment to honesty and respect for the intellectual efforts of the Center and others. The trainee must move away from all forms of fraud, forgery, and impersonation, as these practices are considered a violation of the concept of academic integrity.

Academic integrity is the basis of society, determines the credibility of individuals in their dealings, and influences the trust people place in officials in senior positions. The trainee’s commitment to academic integrity reflects his investment in his future. If the values of integrity are not respected, the real feasibility of education and training fades.

Responsibly, the trainee must be aware that academic integrity is essential to preserving the value of the education he has endeavored to attain. Integrity promotes the value of the testimony it receives and contributes to building a society based on high ethics and principles.

Forms of violation of training and academic integrity as a motive for plagiarism

Many forms of conduct are deemed to be contrary to the standards and principles of academic integrity, for example:

  • Impersonation of others

The trainee claims to be someone else in class, in a test or examination, or in any type of training or academic assignment. In this case, the trainee who impersonates someone else and the trainee who impersonates him or her will be punished.

  • Cheating

such as the transfer of the work of others and the unauthorized use of any observations, information, and materials in academic examinations or other tasks entrusted to the trainee.

  • Forgery and Fabrication

The trainee changes the information available to him or her in an academic test/task or produces a forged medical certificate to be absent from attendance.

  • Misuse of academic assistance

A trainee exploits a fellow’s work to provide him with good academic assistance, such as from a special report developed by that trainee or from an old test, without informing him.

  • Exploitation of cooperation

The trainee depends on another trainee within his group to accomplish a joint task/work or uses another trainee to achieve individual duties.

  • Other acts of plagiarism

Trainees who sell lectures, notes, papers, or research works during their registration at the center or who accept financial compensation for the work they do for others without obtaining prior written approval from the center’s management will be subject to disciplinary procedures. As well as trainees who submit forms or petitions with forged information or forged or misleading signatures, They will be subject to disciplinary action and will be asked to withdraw from the program without any compensation or recognition.

  • Fraud prevention procedures

– The trainees’ access to the electronic systems is monitored, and the time they attend complete lectures is recorded.

– The electronic tests are opened, and trainees are received when the test period begins. The trainee is not allowed to enter the test after thirty minutes from its start, and the trainee is not allowed to leave the test before half an hour from its start.

  • Exams

– Trainees who violate the examination rules, especially the commitment to academic integrity, will be removed from training.

– Trainees who fail to follow the necessary instructions while taking an exam will be subject to disciplinary action.

– During an exam, trainees are not allowed to communicate with each other. They are not allowed to consult any books or papers without the express permission of the authorized official.

Virtual Attendance Policy

This policy indicates that virtual attendance is equivalent to regular attendance and among the general provisions related to it.

Virtual attendance policy at Reach Skills Training Center

This policy emphasizes that virtual attendance is equivalent to regular attendance, and stipulates the following points:

  1. Calculating simultaneous attendance: Simultaneous attendance through virtual classes is calculated as equal to regular attendance, taking into account that the hours of simultaneous attendance through virtual classes are recorded at no less than 25% of the course hours.

  2. Blended learning: In the case of blended learning, the attendance percentage is calculated equally whether attendance is virtual or regular.

  3. Number allowed in virtual classes: Up to 35 learners are allowed in simultaneous virtual classes, and this number is allowed to increase by 25% based on specific factors such as course type, activities, and faculty members’ experience in providing e-learning.

  4. Commitment to limits:  Reach Skills Training Center is committed to not exceeding the allowable number of learners in simultaneous virtual classes, and this depends on appropriate analysis and evaluation.

Under this policy, the center pledges to implement and comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the field of virtual attendance while ensuring the quality of education and learner interaction.
